Thai Vinytech (2002) Launches MT-PVC Pipes with Japanese Standards

On September 21, 2022, Mr. Phornsak Panyoi, Assistant Governor of Engineering at the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority, along with Mrs. Thimaporn Wimolanupon, Director of Engineering Standards and Geographic Information, and the engineering team from the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority, visited the production process and testing of MT-PVC PIPE (Modified Toughness Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe) at the Thai Vinytech (2002) Co., Ltd. factory in Nakhon Ratchasima.

Mr. Supatchai Viratkapan, Managing Director of Thai Vinytech (2002) Co., Ltd., welcomed the visitors. Thai Vinytech (2002) Co., Ltd., also known for the "Samba" brand pipes, is one of Thailand's leading manufacturers of PVC and HDPE pipes with over 25 years of experience. With advanced technology and a modern research lab, the company has earned the trust of the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority to be part of the joint research and development of the MT-PVC bell-end pipe, which offers enhanced features and performance compared to previous PVC pipes.

The MT-PVC pipe has special characteristics, being four times more impact-resistant, more durable, and stronger than previous models, meeting the Japanese standard JIS K 6742. This makes it ideal for use in areas affected by ground subsidence or compression from heavy traffic, offering higher durability and strength without breaking easily. The pipe is produced under Thai Industrial Standards (มอก. 17-2561), international standards (JIS K 6742), and MIT (Made in Thailand) certification.

During this visit, Thai Vinytech (2002) showcased its manufacturing and testing capabilities according to the required standards. The results confirmed that the MT-PVC pipes from the "Samba" brand are of the highest quality ever produced by the company.
