Modified Toughness Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe (MT-PVC PIPE)

Thai Vinytech (2002): One of Thailand's Top 5 PVC and HDPE Pipe Manufacturers

Thai Vinytech (2002) Co., Ltd. is a leading company in the production of PVC and HDPE pipes in Thailand. The company has developed a special formula for producing MT-PVC PIPE, a high-quality bell-end PVC pipe of class 10.5 with "modified toughness." These pipes are designed for use in the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority’s water distribution system.

The MT-PVC pipe offers enhanced strength, durability, and impact resistance, exceeding previous standards. Manufactured under the Thai Industrial Standard (มอก.17-2561) and tested to meet the international quality standard JIS K 6742 (the Japanese standard for pipe manufacturing), these pipes are also MIT (Made in Thailand) certified. Furthermore, the MT-PVC pipes received certification from the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority on March 9, 2023, marking them as one of the first factories in Thailand to achieve this.

In addition to their improved durability, these pipes are environmentally friendly and free of lead, making them a safer and more sustainable option for modern water supply systems.

Thai Vinytech (2002) Launches MT-PVC Pipes with Japanese Standards

Thai Vinytech (2002) Co., Ltd. has launched the MT-PVC (Modified Toughness Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe) product, featuring special properties that exceed traditional PVC pipes. Manufactured to meet the Japanese standard JIS K 6742, these pipes are four times more impact-resistant and better able to withstand compression from ground subsidence or pressure from heavy traffic, making them more durable and stronger than previous models.

MT-PVC Pipe (Modified Toughness Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe)

The MT-PVC pipe is a high-quality, bell-end type pipe designed for water distribution systems of the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority. It is made from unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (UPVC) and does not contain plasticizers, offering improved toughness and durability.

Key features of the MT-PVC pipe:

  • Size and Classification: The pipe is available in sizes ranging from 100 mm to 300 mm and falls under class 10.5.
  • Manufacturing Standard: Produced in compliance with Thai Industrial Standard มอก.17-2561, and international standard JIS K 6742 (Japan's pipe manufacturing standard).
  • Design: The pipe has a bell-end joint system with a rubber ring, providing secure and easy connections.
  • Material: The pipe is colored blue and has a density of no more than 1,400 kg/m³.
  • Enhanced Strength: The MT-PVC pipe boasts four times better impact resistance and improved compression strength compared to previous models. It is more resilient, durable, and less likely to break under pressure, making it suitable for areas prone to ground subsidence or heavy load pressures.
  • Environmental Friendliness: The pipe is lead-free, making it environmentally friendly and safe for use in water supply systems.

These MT-PVC pipes are manufactured under MIT (Made in Thailand) certification and meet the stringent standards required by the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority, ensuring high performance and reliability in water supply infrastructure.
